There was an impressive midfield performance from Gavin Rae who along with Stephen McPhail is likely to start the new season as City central midfield pairing. Riccy Scimeca is out injured and will provide decent competition when he is fit again.
Trevor Sinclair and Michael Oakes made their first appearances for the club with Sinclair showing some excellent touches and workrate.
