Wales 0 - 2 Austria

Ryan Giggs gave a away possession as Wales attacked in the 82nd minute and the Austrian carved through the welsh to score. Gabbidon and Page were twisted and turned as the Austrian's moved forward and found the target. Then just a few mins later a right ole cock up between the two defenders allowed Austria to score a second. Gabbidon tried to head to Page but it was a poor header, Page was caught in possession trying to control the ball but the Austrians capitalised and it was 2 nil.

James Collins was an unused sub and Earnie came on with 15 mins to go when it was 0 - 0 and hardly touched the ball.

Wales have 2 points from 5 games and are now just playing out the group. England lead on 13 points with Poland on 12. Austria have 8 and will be looking to beat Wales again on Wednesday to hope to catch the Poles for 2nd place.

Yesterday England beat Northern Ireland 4 - 0, all goals in the second half while Poland beat Azerbaijan 8 - 0.
