Walton's words. Simon talks of Leeds and referees

'There are certain members of the Leeds staff and team who should be ashamed to be associated with Leeds United Football Club,' Walton told the Echo.

'I'm from Leeds, but it's not nice to see people try and get another player sent off and then be happy about it.

'A few of the Leeds team are my mates yet they tried to get me sent off and all that rubbish.

'But at the end we had the three points and they are still bottom of the table.'

He's not impresssed by the referee either

'We had it last week with Graham Poll, who was also poor, and now we had the same with this clown.

'The referee said I was diving.

'Where he got that from I just don't know, but I'm certainly not the kind of player that dives.

'The FA need to look at this and stop giving us the duff refs from the Premiership. What made it worse was that it should have been a free kick for us, yet we were the ones penalised.

'Now it's put me out for a couple of games just when I was finding my feet in the side.'
