Tony Warner, who last week completed his move from City to Fulham, could be facing England in this summers World Cup in Germany.

Warner has opted to represent Trinidad and Tobago, the country of his fathers birth.

"It's a great step for me and I'm really excited about being given the chance," said Warner.

Warner has not been to Trinidad since 1995 and does not hold a passport but his Dad was born there and he is eligable to play for them.

Trinidad and Tobago are in England's group in the open stages.
