West Brom boss Roy Hodgson has made a £4million bid for Cardiff midfielder Peter Whittingham.
Fulham are also keen on the 27-year-old, but the Baggies have made the first move.
Whittingham will line up for Cardiff against Crystal Palace tonight in the Carling Cup semi final first leg.
