Website reaction to Walsall defeat

What has happened to our fortress? Why are we allowing all and sundry to storm the once defiant home of Cardiff City and leave with the points.

For the second time in 7 days City lost at home. After losing at Norwich the week before it's now three defeats in a row. When was the last time that happened? We've picked up 2 points from the last 15 at home.

Where has the flowing attacking quality football from the early part of the season gone. Performances of late have been awful. While others around us make moves in the transfer market to strenghten / freshen up their squads we lose out on Julian Gray and see a few injury's decimate the squad. We only have 18 fit players and cannot manage to get a balanced XI on the pitch.

All teams have lapses in form, we are having a bad patch and having little luck but we don't seem to be trying that hard to improve things. City had three times as many efforts at goal today. One goal dis-allowed, good saves by the Walsall keeper but the bottom line is we lost.

I would have put my shirt on us as home bankers in the last two matches, we should be favourites at Watford on Sunday. Maybe a game away from home pressure will allow the players to express themsleves a bit more.

Lennie's pre match comments I agreed with, about how teams had found us out and closed us down quickly and stiffled our play. I only wish he'd do something about it and change the way we are playing. We are too predictable and even the lesser quality teams have us sussed. If he can see what the problem is why can't he do anything about it.

Come on Lennie, shake it up.
