Wenger cool when asked about the pitch invader

A supporter ran onto the Highbury pitch late in the game on Saturday and faced up to Arsenal's Manuel Almunia. The keeper showed great composure as stewards ran onto the pitch to remove the intruder.

Arsene Wenger said of the incident

"You don't like to see that. The guy ran onto the pitch, but what can you do to stop them?

"We had that once at Manchester City when a naked girl ran onto the pitch and I must say it was much more attractive!

"But, of course, I feel they have to ban that as they could interrupt the game every five minutes."

The incident, and one other that saw a fan removed from the front row of the Clock End were small blips on what was a great day with over 6,000 City supporters enjoying the day out at Highbury.
