West Ham winning at Leicester last night means they can still get automatic promotion if results go their way on Saturday.
If Southampton fail to beat already relegated Coventry at St Marys then West Ham could pip them for 2nd place but they have to beat Hull at Upton Park and possibly by quite a large margin.
The more important issue that needs settling is whether Cardiff can close out 6th place by getting a result at Crystal Palace.
Southampton could have done us both a favour if they had beaten Middlesbrough last Satuday, it would have been all over bar the jostling for final placings.
