Weston out for a few weeks

Rhys Weston will be out for at least 3 - 4 weeks after hurting his right knee at Upton Park on the weekend.

There is cartilage damage but it's not the same knee that saw Rhys miss a chunk of games earlier in the season.

The most obvious move is to bring Gary Croft straight in at right back but Lennie will wait until tomorrow before deciding after a number of players came home with bumps and bruises.

Lawrence (speaking on Cardiff City World today) wants to keep Gabbidon and Vidmar as the centre back pairing so the inclusion of Croft as a straight swap is most likely.

James Collins missed the chance to be in the squad for West Ham with a sore achillies and Gavin Gordon may have travelled if he had not had an appendicitis scare.

Collins will resume training later this week so is definately out of the Coventry scenario as is Gordon, Thorne and Weston.

Depending on the situation regarding the walking wounded from Upton Park City could field the same line up with just Croft for Weston and keep the bench the same.

There is a suggestion from Lennie that he may make another change or two after the huge mental and physical strain the players went through in East London. We'll find out at 7.30 tomorrow evening.
