Whalley and Gabbidon. Injury updates.

It's thought that Gareth Whalley may have torn his medial ligament, an injury that can sideline a player for 10 - 12 weeks, rather than snapped it. If it has snapped then he is unlikely to play against this season.

Gareth is having a scan today with Cardiff City hoping for the best news possible.

Daniel Gabbidon's situation is also being looked at. He suffers from back spasms and his mobility in Saturdays game was affected so he was taken off at half time. He will not play at Exeter tomorrow for sure and Lennie cannot say yet whether he will be able to play at Tranmere on Saturday. Wales will also be keeping a close watch on Daniel as he is set to continue in central defence for Wales in the crucial Euro 2004 qualifier in Azerbaijan next Wednesday.

There is a press conference at Ninian Park today where Lennie will be able to update the situation regarding injuries and will be looking ahead to tomorrow LDV Vans game at Exeter City.
