Will Dave Jones change his team?

Dave Jones may want to keep the same XI that started against WBA after their put in a great display.

Darren Purse could be fit but he may have to settle for a place on the bench. Jeff Whitley occupied the space on Tuesday but if Purse is ready he's likely to take that place.

There was a possibility that Paul Parry would lose out to Willo Flood in midweek. Parry kept his place and is likely to do so tomorrow.

Jones though is not afraid to change the team

'If Darren comes through training today then I'm in a great position to be in,' said the City boss.

'I'd be more concerned if I hadn't got a player to come in.

'I don't think it's an awkward position to be in, because it doesn't affect me in anyway.

'You might find come tomorrow afternoon I have left players out that played from the start against West Brom and did well.'

Speaking about speculation that Paul Parry could be one of the players that could leave the club, Dave Jones said

'Even when the media talk about the possibility of good players leaving, it's what I know that is important.

'Paul knows he has got a fight on this hands and the only way I will dislodge him is if I think it's right for me and the team, and right for this football club.

'All Paul has to do is concentrate on what he is doing and that goes for the rest of the team.

'Everybody has to maintain a level of football that hopefully guarantees them a place in the team, and that is the competition that is needed at this football club.

'And with all the speculation about Paul, the fact remains that he is still here and while he is still here he has to continue to play - I have no sentiment in swapping and changing players.'
