Great news for City

Preston and Wolves only managaed 0 - 0 draws on Tuesday night therefore keeping them very close to Cardiff City. Preston still have two games in hand but it was good to see them dropping two of the potential nine points they could have achieved.

Wolves are level with City on points but they have now had two goalless draws in their last two games.

This Saturday Wolves face Cardiff City at Molineux in a massive game for both clubs. Dave Jones thinks the pressure is on Glenn Hoddle

"Glenn's got a job to do, and, if you ask him, he knows just how big it is because of the expectation and the history of the club," said Jones.

"Now, after having been in the Premiership, they want more of the same - they need to get back.

"The parachute payment runs out this year, so the finances of the club will be affected and they need to get back to the top flight. It is a major thing, because the more money you have, the better the chance of getting what you want. I'm sure he is under no illusions as to how big the job is."
