Wycombe 0 - 0 Cardiff City

Erol Bulut now has a week to prepare a team to face Leeds Utd at Elland Rd. And he's going to have to find a side that can score a goal. City have now played out a 0 - 1, a 0 - 4 and a 0 - 0 in the last three games.

A strong looking side with captain Aaron Ramsey starting along with other new signings Ike Ugbo, Dimi Goutas and Karlan Grant created few chances and played at pre-season pace.

The game was a testimonial for Joe Jacobson and the former Bluebird skippered the home side before being subbed in the second half.

Defensively Goutas looks decent, Ramsey is quality and can control and pass so comfortably but the rest of the cast need to up their game and add movement, creative ideas and pace to have any chance of scoring a goal.

I don't recall the Wycome keeper having to make any sort of real saves apart from a rasping effort from Grant, and late on the home side almost won it but for an acrobatic clearance from Goutas.
