Young and Campbell back in training

Last updated : 18 September 2003 By Michael Morris
Scott Young, City's longest serving player, is back in training a a lenghty absence with a back injury.

He will be in training for several weeks before attempting to play again.

Andy Campbell has also returned to training after aggrevating a thigh strain in a reserve match a couple of weeks ago.

Daniel Gabbidon hoped to resume full training today and has an outside chance of a place on the bench on Saturday but is more likely to play against West Ham in the Carling Cup next Tuesday.

The early indications are that Lennie will rotate his squad next Tuesday in the game that is live on Sky.

City are without Alan Lee who completes his suspension this Saturday but will be out for another couple of weeks after undergoing surgery on a cartlidge injury.
