Amario Cozier-Duberry struck in the fourth minute of added time as Bolton Wanderers secured a dramatic victory over League One leaders Cardiff City.

Neither side managed a shot on target until Cozier-Duberry's curling effort from 20 yards out flew beyond Nathan Trott in the final seconds of the contest at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

On the back of three successive home wins, the Trotters went into the game as one of only three sides unbeaten on their own patch in the league this season.

As for the Bluebirds, they boasted the highest away points per game total in the third tier, and while Brian Barry-Murphy's outfit had far more possession in the contest, there was nothing to separate the sides until the final minute.

David Turnbull headed wide for the visitors before Mason Burstow's volley was off target in what was a low key opening half.

Both sides showed some promising build-up late on but were unable to add the required quality to bulge the net as the points appeared destined to be shared.

But Cozier-Duberry netted his fifth goal of the season since joining Steven Schumacher's side on loan from Premier League Brighton & Hove Albion to earn the hosts all three points and inflict a first away league defeat of the season on the Welsh side.
