West Ham head to Wembley after a comfortable afternoon at Upton Park.
Cardiff's task became impossible early in the game when Kevin Nolan put West Ham ahead on the day and Ricardo Vaz Te made it 2 - 0 by half time.
Nicky Maynard rounded off the tie with a final late goal.
