League One leaders Cardiff City welcome fourth-placed Stockport County to the Cardiff City Stadium in a clash that could shape the promotion race. The Bluebirds are unbeaten in their last six league matches and boast the division’s best home record, while Stockport arrive on a three-game winning streak and hold the second-best away form.

“I can’t wait for Saturday. The pitch is looking really good, and we’ll be facing a team who have caused so many problems for us in the game at Edgeley Park. We’re really excited to test ourselves and see how much we’ve improved since that game, and try to play our best and win.

“Dave Challinor has done a great job with them, and obviously with them being in the Play-Offs last season they’re a powerful, skilful team.

“We’re fully aware of their strengths and how much of a punch they pack in their attacking play, but we feel as if we’re in a pretty good place ourselves and we’re looking forward to a really good game where both teams will go for it.”
