City linked with Todorov

Svetoslav Todorov was the Championship's (Div 1's) leading scorer when Portsmouth were promoted in 2003 but he suffered a bad injury which has seen him play only an hours first team tootball in the last two years. That season he bagged 26 goals.

He is making progress and now Portsmouth are looking to loan him out to give him more chance of playing

"The phone has been red hot, and Cardiff are one of the teams who have shown interest," confirmed Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric.

"Toddy is going to go out on loan to sharpen up.
