Cardiff City will have four representatives on international duty this month, with Jack Moylan named in the Republic of Ireland squad and Rubin Colwill, Joel Colwill and Cian Ashford selected for Wales' final two UEFA Nations League fixtures.

Four Cardiff City players have been rewarded with international call-ups ahead of the final round of UEFA Nations League fixtures in November.

Jack Moylan has been included in Heimir Hallgrímsson's 24-man Republic of Ireland squad for their matches against Austria and Kosovo, while three Cardiff players have been selected by Wales manager Craig Bellamy.

Rubin Colwill returns to the Welsh squad after his recent injury problems, joining his brother Joel and fellow Bluebird Cian Ashford in the 26-man selection.

Three Bluebirds in Wales squad

The inclusion of Rubin Colwill is particularly welcome news for Cardiff supporters following his lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The attacking midfielder has recently returned to full training after his injury problems, with Brian Barry-Murphy previously explaining that the club had been careful not to rush his recovery.

His return to the international picture is another encouraging step as he looks to get his season back on track.

Joel Colwill also retains his place in the squad, while Cian Ashford continues his progress at senior international level following his first call-up earlier in the campaign.

Wales face Norway away on Saturday, November 14, before returning to Cardiff City Stadium to take on Portugal on Tuesday, November 17.

Bellamy's side currently sit third in their Nations League group and still have plenty to play for, with a possible place in the quarter-finals or a relegation play-off depending on their final position.

Moylan earns Republic of Ireland selection

Jack Moylan has also received international recognition after being named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their final two Nations League matches.

The Cardiff midfielder has enjoyed an encouraging period of form, becoming an increasingly important part of Brian Barry-Murphy's side and contributing goals and creativity in the Championship.

His performances have now earned him another opportunity to represent his country as Ireland prepare for a trip to Austria before hosting Kosovo.

Ireland travel to Linz on Saturday, November 14, to face Austria, before welcoming Kosovo to the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday, November 17.

The four Cardiff players will now have the opportunity to add to their international experience before returning to South Wales for the next stage of the Championship campaign.

It is another positive indication of the talent within the Cardiff squad, with three Welsh internationals and an Irish international all representing the Bluebirds on the international stage.
