24 hours after it was announced Perry Ng has signed a new deal at Cardiff City his teammate, Ryan Wintle, has announced he is leaving the club.
Brian Barry-Murphy it appears has decided against offering a new contract to last season's Player of the Year. The harsh reality bites that Murphy is looking for an upgrade on Wintle who was pivotal for Cardiff in League 1.
The club have also confirmed the departure.

Cardiff City FC can confirm Ryan Wintle will depart the Club
at the end of his current agreement this summer.
Wints joined the Bluebirds during June 2021. He
went on to make 163 appearances for City, scoring six times.
Ryan’s outstanding performances during the 2025/26 campaign
saw the midfielder named Club Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the
Season.
He leaves Cardiff City Stadium with our very best wishes for
the future.
