Wigan are 7 points behind the front two. They missed the chance to stay in touch by losing at home to Crewe.
Another shock result was at Upton Park where West Ham only drew 0 - 0 with Walsall.
City remain 7 points off the play offs after Reading and Crystal Palace drew. A win for either side would have taken them into the play off zone. Julian Gray took a lot of stick from Palace fans who seem to have selected him for a load of abuse today.
At the bottom of the table Forest's mini revival came to an end. They stay of out the drop zone after losing at Gillingham. Bradford beat Rotherham but the Bantams are still 9 points from safety.
The bottom two in my opinion are doomed. Wimbledon have already thrown the towel in and Bradford need a miracle. The final relegation spot will be contested between 7 teams. I think Crewe and City are too far ahead to be drawn in.
