Martyn Margetson has taken up his new role as goalkeeping coach.
Dave Jones is still actively looking to improve the squad with the ongoing negotiations with WBA hoping to conclude with the arrival of Jason Koumas. It looks like both parties are haggling over the exact fee. If City can secure a deal it will be a massive boost.
The squad now have a week of training before they see action for the first time. Dave Jones will send out two squads to face Carmarthen and Merthyr on the same night, Tuesday July 11th.
All the squad will be involved. The following day they fly to Canada to play four matches (one of them in the USA against Seattle).
On their return the first team sqaud will have one home friendly against un-named opposition on July 30th.
The season then starts on August 5th away at Barnsley.
