Young and Perry set for derby day return

With Mark Hudson still injured and Gabor Gyepes suspended City are struggling to get enough men on the pitch for the derby against Swansea on Saturday.

Makeshift centre half Darcy Blake is crocked as well so Cardiff have resorted to desperate measures.

The Bluebirds have drafted in Scott Young (still on the books as a youth team coach) and Jason Perry (broadcasting rights) to the squad to face Swansea on Saturday afternoon.

When quizzed about his squad selection City boss Dave Jones said "They (Swansea) couldn't score against my Granny so I have no problem bringing Scott and Jason into my team."

Jones declined to comment about the rumours that David Giles would also see action v Swansea on Saturday.
