Cardiff Fan Advisory Board Elections

The Cardiff City Fan Advisory Board has confirmed the process for electing supporter representatives for the 2026–2028 term. The FAB enters its third year of operation in August 2026 and continues to play a central role in structured dialogue between supporters and the club.

The Cardiff City Supporters' Trust Board would strongly encourage members to apply and is happy to support where it can.

The new term will consist of:

  • A mix of supporter?group?nominated representatives and directly elected supporters, ensuring broad and balanced representation.

Structure of the FAB

The FAB will continue to consist of:

  • Representatives nominated by supporter groups (6 Seats), and
  • Directly elected individual supporters (6 Seats) - These are the seats that are up for election

The Directly Elected group is split into 4 Categories:

  • Individual Supporters x 3
  • Female Over 25 x 1
  • Female Under 25 x 1
  • Male Under 25 x 1

This structure is designed to ensure diversity, continuity, and representation across the fan base and you can choose the relevant category you wish to apply for.

Supporter Group Representatives

Three recognised supporter groups each hold two permanent seats:

  • Cardiff City Supporters’ Club
  • Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust - currently filled by board members Keith Morgan and Jeremy Williams
  • Cardiff City Disabled Supporters Association

Representatives serve three?year terms and may be re?nominated by their committees in 2027.

Key Dates

  • Nominations have opened: 1 July 2026
  • Nominations close: 7 August 2026 (email submissions to ccfcfab@gmail.com)
  • Voting period: Begins after the FAB completes its review and confirms the final list of candidates (date to be announced by the club).

Any supporter who is a:

  • Season Ticket Holder,
  • Club Member, or
  • Away Member,

may stand for election by securing three nominations from fellow supporters who meet the same criteria.

Process:

  1. Submit nominations by 7 August to ccfcfab@gmail.com.
  2. FAB reviews all candidates and selects a minimum of six to appear on the final ballot.
  3. Public voting will take place, with anyone fitting the criteria above allowed to vote for one candidate. The three highest?voted candidates will be elected.

Since its establishment in 2024, the FAB has helped improve transparency, consultation, and collaboration between supporters and the club. This election is an opportunity for members to shape the future of that engagement and ensure a diverse range of supporter voices are represented.
