Confirmed Championship TV games

Cardiff have been selected for two Sky Sports + early kick offs in September, away at Bolton and home to Charlton, these are in addition to the already announced home opener against Wrexham in August.

The EFL have annouced their kick off changes and TV games until the international break at the end of September.

The games for the opening two months of the season are: (Home games in bold)

August

Mon Aug 17 – Wrexham - 8pm. Live on Sky Sports Football

Sat Aug 22 – Derby County - 3pm

Sat Aug 29 – Sheffield United - 3pm

September

Wed Sep 2 – Queens Park Rangers - 7:45pm

Sat Sep 5 – Portsmouth - 3pm

Tue Sep 8 – Stoke City - 7:45pm

Sat Sep 12 – Bolton Wanderers - 12:30pm. Live on Sky Sports +

Sat Sep 19 – Charlton Athletic - 12:30pm - Live on Sky Sports +


By 31 July 2026 selections will be confirmed in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played up to, and including, the weekend of 8-11 January 2027.
