None of the five Cardiff players in the Welsh squad were involved in tonight's 4 - 2 defeat for Wales by visitors Belgium.
Ronan Kpakio and Rubin Colwill were unused subs while Joel Colwill, Dylan Lawlor and Isaak Davies were all omitted from the matchday squad.
Hopefully all five will be fit and raring to go on Saturday when Cardiff welcome Reading to the capital.
Wales, mathmatically, can still win the group to qualify for the World Cup but it would take a sudden drop in form from Belgium who are odds on favourites to take top spot.
In order for Wales to finish top and qualify automatically, the Belgians would need to lose both of their remnaining matches against Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein, with Wales winning both of their games.
Belgium have not lost a qualifying game since 2015 so it looks like the play offs if Wales are going to make it to North America.
